1. Overview

KidDone (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) helps parents motivate their children with tasks, coins and rewards. We built KidDone to be private by design: it works offline, needs no account, and keeps your family's data on your device. This policy explains what that means.

2. Information We Collect

No personal data. KidDone does not require an account, email, or sign-up. We do not collect names, contact details, or device identifiers on our servers.

Family content stays local. The profiles, tasks, rewards, coin balances, task photos and settings you create are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device storage.

3. Photos

You may attach photos to tasks or let a child add a photo as proof of completion. These images are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to us. The app requests camera and photo access only to enable this feature; access can be revoked anytime in iOS Settings.

4. Face ID & PIN

Parent mode can be protected with a PIN and unlocked with Face ID / Touch ID. Biometric checks are handled entirely by iOS — KidDone never sees or stores your biometric data. Your PIN is stored only as a one-way hash on your device.

5. Purchases

KidDone Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

KidDone is designed for parents to manage their family. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not show third-party ads.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the app changes. Any updates will appear on this page with a revised date. If we ever add features that collect data, this policy will be updated before those features ship.
